Ellie Docherty (born in 1989) is a British photographer who lives and works in Florence. She graduated with a master of arts in Philosophy and Italian, before receiving a scholarship for the International Master's program Filling the Gap. Raised in the city watching science fiction movies, her work often features geometric and surreal elements, touching on themes such as perception, metaphysics, and psychology. Her ongoing project, 'As Right as Left', explores the experience of dyspraxia and was among the winners of the Erik Kessels award for the MIA Photo Fair.
